Chelsey Shirley currently works as a Communications Consultant at KWI Communications in Atlanta, Georgia. She is a 2017 graduate of the University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication. After graduation, Chelsey completed a post-graduate internship in the Georgia State Senate Press Office where she worked alongside a core team to produce weekly collateral for Georgia’s 56 State Senators as well as produced This Week in the Senate, the official record-keeping of all legislation passed in the Georgia Senate. After her time in the Senate, Chelsey joined the fast-growing team at KWI Communications, where she creates and supports multiple channel communications for Chick-fil-A’s Corporate Communications department. Day to day, she works alongside the Chick-fil-A App and Digital Transformation and Technology teams to keep Operators, Team Members and Restaurants informed on all things digital. She first attended the WJMC as a rising high school senior and continued her involvement as a Junior Faculty Advisor from 2015 to 2017. When Chelsey isn’t working, you can find her finding new workouts to enjoy, spending time with the world’s cutest dog, Banks, and finding new chocolate chip cookie recipes.
