CEC Civil, Environmental, and Infrastructure Engineering
The Sid and Reva Dewberry Department of Civil, Environmental and Infrastructure Engineering (CEIE) is an internationally recognized program leading the expansion of knowledge on developing sustainable and resilient cities and villages. The department offers the Civil and Infrastructure Engineering MS and PhD programs educating students in the theory and practice of civil engineering science and design as well as preparing students for advanced leadership positions in research and development in the public or private sector, academics, or government.
CEC Computer Science
GMU's Department of Computer Science is the top-ranked CS department in Virginia by csrankings.org. We offer MS and PhD degrees in Computer Science, an MS degree in Software Engineering, and a Computing Foundations bridge certificate for those. We also offer a bridge certificate for those wishing to pursue our MS degrees but who do not have an undergraduate background in Computer Science.

CEC MS in Electrical Engineering & MS in Computer Engineering
Computer Engineering involves knowledge of hardware and software development for embedded and general-purpose systems, including those found in smartphones, cards, appliances, smart factories, satellites, and the Internet of Things. Electrical Engineering covers a variety of topics including wireless communications, computer networks, signal processing, machine learning, control systems, robotics, bioengineering, space-based systems, nanoelectronics, and smart grid.
CEC PhD, Systems Engineering and Operations Research
No other PhD program in the nation offers a unique integration of systems engineering and operations research that gives students a strong analytical and computational capability combined with an overarching systems perspective that is well-grounded in application. Mason's PhD degree in SEOR prepares students for leadership positions in research and development in government, industry, and academia.

GeorgeSquared (Advanced Biomedical Sciences) is a collaboration between George Mason and Georgetown Universities that offers a nine-month pre-health preparatory, graduate-level program designed to help qualify students for medical, dental, or other health professional schools.
Global Affairs and Middle East and Islamic Studies Accelerated and MA Programs
The Global Affairs graduate program and the Middle East and Islamic Studies graduate program both offer a rigorous curriculum of 30 multidisciplinary credits that provides graduate students with a global perspective and prepares them to enter today's fast-paced, interconnected world.
Interdisciplinary Program in Neuroscience PhD program
The IPN focuses on the study of the brain and addresses the challenge of developing an integrative understanding of cognition and higher brain function.
