How our Mason Ambassadors are celebrating the holiday
As love fills the air and hearts beat a little faster, Valentine’s Day arrives to sprinkle our campus with a touch of romance and camaraderie. Here at George Mason University Valentine’s Day isn’t just about flowers and chocolates- it’s a celebration of friendship, affection, and the vibrant spirit of our community. Take inspiration from some of our Ambassadors on how they are sharing the love with themselves, their friends, and their partners.
Sabreena, a freshman from Maryland studying Business, is celebrating with friends, a heart-shaped tray from Chick-fil-A, and a movie. With Chick-fil-A being one of over 30 dining options on Mason’s campuses, Sabreena and her friends won’t have to go far to get this treat.
Caitlin, a sophomore from New York studying Criminology, Law & Society with a minor in Forensic Psychology, is celebrating the holiday with her partner and her friends. Caitlin and her girlfriends will have a night of baking, mocktails, and movies. Later that evening, she will be enjoying an Italian restaurant in Old Town Fairfax with her partner.
Kevynne, our Vice President of Visits and a senior studying English with minors in Forensic Science and Women & Gender Studies, is spending the holiday with her valentine. Her boyfriend asked her to be his valentine with flowers and chocolates and will be making a steak dinner for them tonight. They keep a scrapbook of their time together and add to it every Valentine’s Day.
However you are choosing to spend the holiday, the Mason Ambassadors would like to wish you a Happy Valentine’s Day!
