K-12 Group Tours

The Office of Admissions at George Mason University hosts group tours for K-12 school groups and community-based organizations as part of our college access initiatives! 

We are pleased to continue offering both in-person group tour experiences for school groups and community-based organizations. Below you will find more information about these experiences for high school groups and K-8th grade groups respectively. Please be sure to choose the request form  and contact information appropriate for the age of the students that will be attending. For all group tours, the minimum group size is 25 students. Priority will go to groups with underrepresented students.

High School Group Tours

Thank you for your interest in having your high school or organization visit George Mason University! Our High School Spring Semester visit calendar is currently full, but if you are interested in visiting in the fall, please email us at [email protected]. Our high school group tour program is focused on providing access to college going resources to high schools and community-based organizations that serve underrepresented students. If you have any questions, please reach out to [email protected].

In-person sample schedule:

10:00 a.m. – Arrival to Mason
10:00 a.m. – Campus Tour
11:00 a.m. – Lunch
12:15 p.m. – Information Session from Admissions Counselor
1:00 p.m.   – Departure from Mason
High School Visit Request Form

K-8th Grade Group Tours

Thank you for your interest in scheduling a group tour for your K-8th grade students!  Our K8 Spring Semester visit calendar is currently full, but if you are interested in visiting in the fall, please email us at [email protected]. Our K-8th grade group tour program is focused on providing access to college-going resources to  schools and community-based organizations that serve underrepresented elementary and middle school age students. If you have any questions, please reach out to [email protected]

In-person sample schedule:

10:00 a.m. – Arrival to Mason
10:05 a.m. – Information Session from Admissions K-12 Coordinator
11:00 a.m. – Campus Tour
12:00 p.m. – Lunch in a University Dining Hall
