Melissa Moore

Melissa Moore is a WJMC 2012 alumna hailing from New Jersey, currently living and working in Washington, D.C. She graduated from George Mason University in 2018 where she studied Communication with a concentration in public relations and earned minors in journalism and sport management. She currently works for the Washington Capitals (NHL) as a Ticket Sales & Service Coordinator where she plans and executes sales and service events and initiatives, manages the fan experience program, and produces a bi-weekly newsletter, among other various communications. In high school, she was named the New Jersey High School Journalist of the Year by the Garden State Scholastic Press Association and received many other honors. She has been involved with WJMC for several years in various capacities and is looking forward to coming back for this year’s virtual conference!
