Both first-year and transfers merit scholarships (ranging from $100k-$152k) will be determined at the time of acceptance to the College; no special application is required. Throughout the history of the College, generous donors have made annual and endowed gifts in support of the student experience. All students are welcome to apply for multiple scholarships throughout their time at Hartwick College, and they are welcome to request assistance with our Financial Aid office, Center for Student Success, or the Professional Service & Global Engagement office.

That’s why we’re committed to fostering an environment of thoughtful exchange on- and off-campus. For instance, Hartwick’s Office of Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging exists to contribute to the creation, influence, and sustainability of a community in which the dignity of all people is respected and affirmed through the promotion of dialogue and interaction between cultures. The Office plays a pivotal role by initiating and leading activities that engage and support underrepresented students and enhance the quality of the Hartwick College experience for all students. The Office collaboratively offers educational and social programming to enhance the overall academic and developmental achievement of all students, while providing avenues for personal growth and increased advocacy, involvement, and support for the College community. Areas of focus include: ALANA/minority students, gender issues, interfaith and religion, sexual orientation, disability awareness, social class, International students, The Office of Campus Activities and the Student Government Association collectively support more than 60 registered student organizations. These groups reflect our community’s diversity and contribute to the exciting co-curricular life here at Hartwick.
