The Presidents Park Greenhouse (PPG) was built in 2009 and in 2014 transitioned into a site for year-round food production. The staff at the PPG produce approximately 1,000 lbs. of fresh lettuce and salad greens annually that are served weekly right next door at Ike’s dining hall. The remaining herbs, fruits and veggies are donated to the community through the Produce Pick-Ups, where anyone can sign up to receive free produce, as supplies last.
