University of North Carolina Wilmington

The University of North Carolina Wilmington is North Carolina’s coastal university located in a wonderful beach town on the southeastern coast called Wilmington. Our campus is just 15 minutes from our the nearest beach community and the social hub of the historic riverfront downtown area. UNCW has about 18,000 total students (14,650 undergraduates) but offers a private school feel within the academic classroom with an average class size of 27 and a student-to-faculty ration 18:1. UNCW offers 56 majors ranging from education humanities arts sciences business and more! Some of our highlight programs include Nursing Film Studies Marine Biology Coastal Engineering and Psychology. We are an active campus with various programming and resources for our students to enjoy such as a movie theatre 250+ clubs/organization 19 NCAA Division 1 teams 28+ club sports and much more!
