The MSSC sponsors many organizations and clubs like the Organization for Latin America Students (OLAS) and Casablanca. For educational, administrative, and institutional support, all students can engage with GW’s Office of Diversity, Equity, and Community Engagement which aims to serve underrepresented students as a resource. They also sponsor and put together a number of educational events, curriculum, and lectures centered around inclusion, identity, and equity. Lastly, specifically for first generation students, we have a number of resources including First-Gen United. This student led organization provides and guidance in primarily three areas: Social Support, Advocacy, and Academics. Through an array of mentorship programs, events, and academic resources, this organization help first gen student find their way at GW!
